Salon Bookings Sync

Last updated 5 October 2026
Salon Bookings Sync is a browser extension for the reception computer in a hair or beauty salon. It runs on that computer only, and reads today's bookings from the Treatwell Connect calendar in that browser while the salon is logged in as usual.
What it handles
The booking details already shown on the salon's own calendar: the time, the service, the stylist and the price — and, where Treatwell provides them, the client's name, telephone number and email address.
Where it goes
Nowhere, unless the salon chooses. The bookings are kept in the browser's own storage on that one computer and are deleted after seven days.
If the salon enters the address of its own booking software in the extension's settings, the day's bookings are sent there, and nowhere else. That address is typed in by the salon, the browser asks permission for it at the time, and the salon can remove it whenever it likes.
What it never does
- It never changes or cancels a booking. It only reads.
- It never sees or stores the Treatwell password.
- It sends nothing to the people who wrote it.
- It sends nothing to any third party, and nothing is sold or shared.
- There is no tracking, no analytics and no advertising.
How the bookings are read
Treatwell does not give individual salons an interface for this, so the extension uses what the Connect calendar itself loads in the salon's own logged-in browser. It listens to that, and repeats the calendar's own request for today every few minutes so the list stays current. It makes one small request per refresh and sends no changes back.
Removing it
Removing the extension from the browser deletes everything it was holding. There is nothing kept anywhere else to delete, and no account to close.
